You do not need previous experience or a certain level of fitness to ask about joining. I teach Modern Pilates for all abilities at The WI Hall in Great Eccleston and will help you understand what to expect before your first class.

START WHERE YOU ARE
It is normal to feel unsure before trying a new class. You can contact me first to tell me whether you are completely new to Pilates, returning after a break or have questions about a suitable starting point.

Bring water. Ask me about equipment for your first visit before buying anything; once you attend regularly, I can explain what you will need.
Each class lasts one hour. Allow enough time to arrive, find the hall and get settled before the class begins.
Yes. New attendees often arrive alone. I will welcome you, and you can ask questions whenever something is unfamiliar.
My classes use the Modern Pilates approach and are open to all abilities. I explain the movements and encourage you to work at an appropriate level rather than trying to keep up at any cost.

If you have an injury, symptoms or a health condition, are pregnant or have recently given birth, ask a healthcare professional about suitable exercise and discuss your needs with me before joining. Stop exercising if you feel pain or become unwell. Pilates classes are not medical treatment.
