Before you book a photography holiday
- Confirm dates, full price, travel, meals, transfers, accommodation and cancellation terms with the booking provider.
- Ask whether the trip is photography-led, who teaches, what experience level suits it and how much tuition is included.
- Check group size, vehicle or hide arrangements, accessible facilities, walking distances and any long or late outings.
- Confirm camera/lens requirements, equipment hire, charging and baggage limits. Hire or tuition is not assumed to be included.
- For safaris and wildlife, ask how the operator avoids disturbing animals and follows local rules. Do not approach wildlife or leave a vehicle without guide approval.
- Northern Lights and wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Ask about bad-weather arrangements and alternatives before paying.
- Check current travel advice, entry requirements, travel insurance and any applicable financial protection. PAW does not provide protection.
